MacGen was founded in Kilrea in 1998 and is now a leading UK power generation specialist. It stocks an extensive range of generators from 2.7kVA upwards, along with parts and spares. The range covers open-skid, super-silenced and containerised models, all compliant with European standards.

MacGen serves sports events and venues, hospitals, nursing homes, schools, supermarkets, shopping centres, event management, offices, quarries, waste management, construction, hotels, pubs and restaurants, and agriculture.

Jefferson was launched in 2003 to meet growing demand for reliable, industry-focused products in Ireland and the UK. The globally sourced range now covers more than 2,500 product lines across multiple categories. It is growing quickly thanks to its reputation for quality products at competitive prices.

Jefferson is a wholesale-only brand. This gives our carefully selected agents sole management of end-user sales. Jefferson supplies trade, engineering, manufacturing, automotive, agricultural, construction and many other industries.

Frenstar Valves was founded in 1977 and joined the McIntyre Group in 2012. Its head office is located beside Belfast Port. Frenstar delivers small, medium and large butterfly valve projects for onshore and offshore facilities, with stock available for rapid response.

Frenstar specialists source hard-to-find valves and supply certified, compliant products to clients worldwide. Frenstar serves oil and gas, refining, FPSO, petrochemical, water and wastewater treatment, process and chemicals, pharmaceutical, power and fertiliser industries.

Load Bank Rental Europe GmbH (LBRE) provides load bank hire and testing services across Europe. LBRE supplies resistive and reactive load banks for commissioning and proving critical power systems, including generators, UPS and electrical infrastructure. Its customers include data centres, healthcare, utilities and infrastructure projects. LBRE complements MacGen’s generator expertise and gives the Group a complete power offer, from supply through to testing and commissioning. Established in 2025, LBRE has served customers across Europe from its offices in Frankfurt and Dublin.
